Paul’s  Spiritual Tip

(Illus–You leave a tip in a restaurant as something you want to leave the person with for serving you. Paul closed his letters with a special tip –a blessing spoken over his friends. Read what his closing tip always was.)

1 Corinthians 16:23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. 24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

A  Way to Remember Grace!

G           is for       GIFT
A gift is not earned
A gift is paid for by another
A gift is to be received
A gift indicates forethought by the giver
A gift indicates an exchange of ownership
A true gift is motivated by love -not a barter -not a bribe -not a buy back

R           is for       RESOURCE

You have signatory rights on God’s Checking Account because of Grace
Whatever you need to do God’s will, there are resources available to you because of Grace
2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
God Says “My grace = My strength”

A           is for       ACCESS
To God’s Presence
To God’s Power
To God’s Wisdom
To God’s Provision
To More Grace
Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Sin cannot win against Grace!

C           is for       CHRIST
Grace is through Christ Jesus
Grace is in Christ Jesus

E           is for       EXALTATION
Grace comes to the humble
Grace paves the path to promotion

Let’s Review and Rehearse!

2 Timothy 2:1 You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Jesus was/is full of grace and truth!

EXALTATION – God desires to promote me

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “ God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,

Every situation will be up or down —– ?
